Everett, WA every November. The Foundation presents competitive “Golden Pencil” awards to a number of categories of animation and animated film at the festival, in addition to honoring a respected
contributor to the medium by presenting the non-competitive “Roy E. Disney Award” at the conclusion of the event. The Foundation also attempts to bring together talented student graduates and
seasoned professional animators through the production of innovative, ground-breaking projects. The first production was the film, “FIRE GODS”, completed in early 2007 for the Museum of Glass in
