‘END~SPEC’ ON DVD AT LAST… BUT IN A LIMITED KIND OF WAY!

Those of you who have been asking if my film “Endangered Species” is out on DVD yet might be interested to know that a limited edition of it is going to be available at the “Animation Book Look” event this Saturday, May 17th 2008.  Unfortunately, this availability is only limited to 25 signed copies for now… but at least it’s a start!

The 'EndSpec' limited-edition DVD cover.

As indicated earlier, the second “Animation Book Look” event is being presented by ‘The Creative Talent Network’ and the ‘Van Eaton Galleries’ this coming weekend and will feature a number of us writer/animators, all signing their books for whoever wants to buy them.  My featured book will be "Animation from Pencils to Pixels ~ Classical Techniques for Digital Animators".

The book in question!

Additionally, visiting authors will have a selection of their own creative works sold through the gallery, so I am taking a number of signed prints from “Animation from Pencils to Pixels”/”Endangered Species”, as well as the limited-edition DVD.

One of my featured prints... "The Apprentice".

This special limited-edition DVD will not only have a full version of “Endangered Species” on it, but it also has a brief interview with me to introduce it and a surprise bonus archive collection of some of my work, taken from almost 30 years in the animation industry!  This limited edition will not be offered again in this particular format, although another DVD edition of "Endangered Species" will eventually become available.

Another of my prints... "Outsourcing".

The location of Saturday’s unique event is VAN EATON GALLERIES, 13613 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA.  Tel: 818-788-2357. Further details can be found at… http://www.animationbooklook.com/index.html. The event is being sponsored by “Animation Magazine” and “MyToons”.

One more print... "The Old Days".

Hopefully I’ll see you all there if you're passing by!

Yet another... "Animation Research".
